Inferno is a Predacon in the Beast Wars portion of the Beast Era.

Inferno wholeheartedly believes that he is an ant, and that Megatron is his queen. Unlike many Predacons, he has no personal ambitions or future plans; everything he does is for the good of the colony and his queen. Luckily for Inferno, many of the tasks his queen assigns him involve burning - and he likes burning.

The Diaclone version came only in red or police deco; this is one of several items that have led to the fan speculation that Sunstreaker and Sideswipe's coloration and bios were swapped around before final release.
